1. Returns policy for standard products
Standard products that have not been manufactured, painted, cut or otherwise modified to a customer’s individual order may be returned within 14 days of receipt if purchased remotely by an individual acting as a consumer.
To arrange a return, the buyer must notify us of their decision within the specified period.
A product may be returned if the following conditions are met:
- the product has not been used beyond what is necessary to inspect its characteristics and appearance;
- the product has not been installed, damaged or modified;
- the product’s appearance, components and packaging have been preserved.
The buyer is responsible for any reduction in the product’s value caused by use beyond what is necessary to examine and inspect it.
Important!
If the return is not due to an error on our part, damage to the product or a manufacturing defect, the buyer bears the return shipping costs.
If a product has a manufacturing defect, is damaged or does not match the agreed order, please contact us. In such cases, we will remedy the defect, replace the product or provide another mutually agreed solution.
2. Returns policy for custom-made products
MDF skirting boards and other products manufactured or processed to the customer’s individual requirements are considered custom-made products.
These include products that are:
- made in non-standard sizes;
- painted in a colour chosen by the customer;
- cut to dimensions specified by the customer;
- made with an individually selected finish;
- modified or prepared for a specific project.
All order characteristics and specifications are agreed with the customer before manufacturing or processing begins.
Once the order has been confirmed and manufacturing or processing has begun, custom-made products cannot be returned or exchanged because the customer has changed their mind about the purchase.
Exceptions apply where a product has a manufacturing defect, is damaged or does not meet the agreed order specifications. In these cases, we will remedy the defect, replace the product or offer another solution agreed with the customer.
